The European Union EN1811 test is a test standard for the release of nickel in various products that have direct and long-term contact with skin, including jewelry, watches, spectacle frames, mobile phones, etc. EN1811 test is mainly aimed at the release of nickel. EN1811 test standard is published in OJ c205 20.7.1999. TST signal standard test can be used for EN1811 nickel release test and nickel free test.
Standard content
EN1811 (nickel release test) stipulates that nickel is 0.5 UG / cm2 / week for long-term and direct contact with skin. The countries to which EN1811 is applicable include: the United Kingdom, Sweden, Switzerland, Iceland, Norway, Czech Republic, Austria, France, Belgium, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Denmark, Finland, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, etc. In addition, 2004 / 96 / EC is a new nickel release standard for skin piercing products: less than 0.2mg/cm2/week, en1810:2005 total nickel test: nickel release from products in direct contact with skin, and en 12472:2005 standard: nickel release from electroplated coated articles after abrasion of catalyst
